Ayeyarwady Chief Minister opens new concrete road 

Kangyidaunt, October 8 


A concrete road opening ceremony was held in the town of Kangydaunt, Ayeyarwady region this morning.


The ceremony was attended by Ayeyar Region Chief Minister U Hla Moe Aung, the Region Security and Border Affairs Minister Colonel Kyaw Swa Hlaing, the Region Development Affairs Minister U Kyaw Myint, the Region Immigration and Human Resources Minister Dr. Soe Win and departmental personnel at region, district, and township level and local people. 


First, the Region Chief Minister U Hla Moe Aung made a speech, dealing with measures taken by the region government for the development of the region. Then, MP U Shwe Hla Kyaing of Pyithu Hluttaw spoke words of thank, followed by the presentation about the road building works and future plans by the township development committee secretary U Htay Lwin. 


Then, the Region Development Affairs Minister u kyaw Myint, the Region Development Committee Director U Phone Lwin, MP U Shwe Hla Kyaing of Pyithu Hluttaw, township administrator U Win Myint and the Township Development Committee Chairman U Zaw Myo Oo formally opened the new road by cutting a ribbon. 


The road measuring 3545 feet in length, 18 feet in width, 8 feet in thick was constructed by Royal Ayar Company with the fund allocated by the region government in 2018-2019 fiscal year.
