THE Ayeyawady Foundation jointly conducted free fuel distribution across the nation with Max Energy on 1 April.
The Ayeyawady Foundation and Max Energy provided fuel for machinery, vehicles, generators, fire engines and ambulances which have been used for rescue work by the social organization teams and international rescue teams. The fuel was provided free for rescue work and they also donated drinking water and food for those who participated in rescue work.
Moreover, the Ayeyawady Foundation kept carrying out the rescue work in Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay. The foundation also provided rice, instant noodles, basic foodstuffs, drinking water and temporary tents for quake victims in Nay Pyi Taw.
Moreover, the foundation is carrying out repairs on roads in Nay Pyi Taw that were damaged by the earthquake, using machinery. The foundation is also working to restore landslides by refilling the affected areas. It also cooperates with local social welfare organizations in rescue work providing machinery and operators.
Free fuel support is also provided for machinery and ambulances at Max Energy filling stations, and the foundation also participated in cleanliness operations at Mandalay Maha Muni Buddha Image. — Shine Htet Zaw/KTZH
