A ceremony to hand over 27 heavy machineries and vehicles to respective township development committees took place at the City Hall in Pathein, Ayeyawady Region yesterday morning.
At the ceremony, Chief Minister of Ayeyawady Region U Hla Moe Aung made a speech and announced the list of heavy machineries and vehicles to be allocated to the township development committees in the fiscal year 2019-2020. Next, the chief minister handed over documents relating to the machineries and vehicles to Director of the region development committee U Phone Lwin.
Afterwards, the chief minister, regional ministers and Secretary of the region government U Than Swe Win delivered documents regarding heavy machineries and vehicles to the township development committee members. On behalf of the township development committees, Regional Minister for Municipality U Kyaw Myint spoke words of thanks.
