Taungoo, November 20

Chief Minister of Bago Region U Win Thein attended the events to inaugurate a rural electrification facility and a rural bridge in Taungoo Township.

The ceremonies were held in Thephyu Village this morning. First, the chief minister, U Khin Maung Than, Lower House MP, and U Aye Min Win, the regional lawmaker cut a ceremonial ribbon to launch the rural electrification structure.  The lower house legislator and Dr Daw Tin Tin Win, Upper House MP clarified the role of local people’s participation in the developmental tasks and achievements.

Chief Minister U Win Thein said that the health, education, social and economic affairs of the local people will be better than before and efforts will be made for the development of the region.
