Bago Region Chief Minister U Win Thein met with members of the Hluttaw at the checkpoint in Htantabin, Toungoo District, to discuss regional development on November 10.

During the meeting, they discussed the requirements for the development of Htantabin Township, the completion of the work being funded by the regional government, the status of the V-19 outbreak prevention and medical inspection work. The chief minister also provided cash assistance for the frontline workers from the checkpoint. Next, Chief Minister U Win Thein visited Kyaukgyi Township and held a meeting with local authorities at the General Administration Department.

Departmental staff discussed the status of implementation of the respective departments and the need for the local government’s support for developmental tasks.
