A ceremony to open basic Disaster Management Course, organized by department of Disaster Management under Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, was held at the meeting hall of the Township General Administration Department in Linkhay, Shan State (East).

At the event, the township Administrator U Aung Than Zaw delivered a speech and staff officer of the district Department of Disaster Management Daw Sandar Shwe clarified the purpose of the course.

The three-day course which will run from December 9-10 is being attended by 30 trainees.—District IPRD
