Arrangements are being made to reopen the Basic Education High Schools in Meiktila Township in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Sports, according to Township Education Officer U Win Bo.
Basic Education High Schools in the township will be reopened with the strict restriction of COVID-19 and preventative measures such as disinfection, thermal screening and placing hand wash basins in front of the classrooms are being undertaken in the schools.
In Meiktila Township, there are a total of 16 Basic Education High Schools and 12 BEHS (Branch). In order to avoid a crowd of people and to be safe environment for the students, an arrangement is being made to create separate two session for students. The schools will accept enrolment of high school students starting on 13 July.
