The closing ceremony of a basic first aid course took place at Yadanar Shin Thant Hall of No.1 Basic Education High School in Thanlyan Township, Yangon Region on 17 November.

On the occasion, Regional Lawmaker for Constituency-2 U Aung Naing Tun gave a concluding speech and the chairperson of the township Red Cross committee explained the purpose of the course before Township Education Officer Daw El Thi Phaw spoke words of thanks. Next, the Regional MP and the township education officer awarded prizes to outstanding trainees and one of the trainees expressed words of gratitude.

A total of 30 trainees from schools throughout the township were given practical and theoretical training during a five-day course.—Thet Khaing (Thanlyan)
