Yamethin 8 August
The closing ceremony of a basic first aid course, jointly organized by Techinilogical University and Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) was held at convocation hall of the university in Yamethin, Mandalay Region on 7 August.
First, Chairperson of the Mandalay Region Red Cross Supervisory Committee Professor Dr. Khin Thidar Lwin gave a speech and presented medical bags to Dr. Pyone Lae Swe, chairperson of the University’ Red Cross. Next, concerned officials presented completion certificates to the trainees. Afterwards, the trainees demonstrated first aid activities.
Regional MPs U Zaw Win and U Aung Myo Oo, Assistant Administrator U Myint Tun and Principal of the University Dr. Khin Maung Chin then awarded prizes to outstanding trainees. The 15-day training course was attended by 215 trainees.—IPRD
