Officials sell essential basic foodstuffs at lower prices for the convenience of grass roots in the Town of Wakhema, Ayeyarwady Region, to be able to buy the food they want at a fair price.

Under the arrangement of the Township Administration Council, basic foodstuffs such as pork, egg, rice, cooking oil are being sold at lower price than the market price at tax free market owned by the Township Development Committee and at Yaykyaw Ward, Hospital Ward, Ywale Ward, Myatheintan Ward and Hlekyin Ward in the Town of Wakhema every Monday and Friday.—Hein Htet Lin
