The Department of Archaeology, National Museum and Library under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture conducted a basic library training course at Pyinnyar Yadanar Hall of No.1 Basic Education High School in Loikaw, Kayah State this morning.

 

In his opening address, the Director-General of the Department of Archaeology, National Museum and Library U Aung Myint said that the course aims to preserve periodicals being kept at different libraries in Kayah State and offer better services through modern technology. Afterwards, Director of the National Library Daw Mya Oo explained about the course that runs from 22 April to 3 May in detail.

 

Those present then took an opportunity to pose for a group photo. Also present on the occasion were concerned officials, course instructors, trainees and guests.—IPRD
