A ceremony to conclude a basic sewing course was held at a monastery in Ooyinkyit village-tract in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region yesterday.

At the closing ceremony, an official from Minbu District Department of Rural Development gave remarks and an official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified the purpose of the course. 

Then, the officials presented awards to the outstanding trainees in the course and they also gave certificate of completion to one of them on behalf of the trainees.

With the aim of upgrading the socioeconomic lives of rural people and creating job opportunities, the Township Department of Rural Development opened a basic sewing course which started from 1 January to 30 January. A total of 30 trainees from Ooyinkyit village-tract and nearby villages in the township attended the course. Ye Win Naing (Nyaung-U)
