Kangyidaunt, 8 April

A ceremony to conclude a basic sewing course was held this morning at the Township Rural Development Department in Kangyidaunt Township, Ayeyawady Region. 

The course was jointly organized by Rural Development Department and Small Scale Industries Department under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.

First of all, U Soe Naing Htoo, staff officer of the Region Small-scale Industries Department and the Township Administrator U Win Myint delivered speeches.  

Then, U Kyaw Soe Naing, staff officer of the Township Rural Development Department called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income and to boost women sector in their villages. 

This was followed by handing out certificates of honor to the course instructors and prizes to the outstanding trainees by relevant officials. Afterwards, a trainee spoke words of thanks on behalf of the trainees.

The two-month course was attended by 20 trainees from seven villages in the township.
