A ceremony to conclude a basic tailoring course organized by Myeik Township Rural Development Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation took place at the monastery of Nandawyar village, Myeik Township, Taninthayi Region this morning with an opening remark by Head of Myeik Township Rural Development Department U Kyaw Winn Naing. 

 


The two-month course is aimed at promoting the job opportunities and income generation of local community. Village Development Program (VDP) and Mya Sein Yaung Rural Project under the rural development department provide water supply system, electricity, waste management plan and others. 

 


The Head of Myeik Township Rural Development Department presented the teaching aids to the trainees.

 


The free course was attended by 12 trainees from Nandawyar village-tract. Also present on the occasion were the Head of Myeik Township Rural Development Department and staffs, departmental personnel, social organizations, trainees and local residents. –Myint Oo
