A basic training course for women scouts for the academic year 2019-2020 was opened at the Ponnyar Hall of the basic education high school in Gangaw Township, Magway Region on 21 December.

On the occasion, Assistant Director (Admin) of the Department of Education U Khin Maung Yin gave a speech and the course instructor explained the purpose of the training course.

The training course is being attended by 80 trainees from the basic education schools in Gangaw, Htilin and Saw Townships.—Taungthar Maung Than
