With a view to creating job opportunities for rural people, the Department of Rural Development and Small Scale Industries Department jointly organized a basic vocational sewing course at the Government Technical Institute in the town of Kyaiklat, Ayeyarwady Region this morning.

At the event, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Tun Thein Aung, an official from the region Department of Rural Development and an official from the region Small Scale Industries Department delivered speeches and clarified the purposes of the training course. Afterwards, officials provided teaching aids to the trainees.

The one-month training course which runs from November 8 to December 7 is being attended by 30 trainees throughout the township.—Htay Htay Hlaing(IPRD)
