A delegation led by Mr Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, arrived in Yangon at 9:15 pm yesterday by air.
The visiting delegation was warmly welcomed at Yangon International Airport by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, regional ministers, Director-General U Zaw Phyo Win from the Strategic Studies and Training Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Also in attendance were representatives from the Yangon-based Belarusian Honourary Consulate and officials from the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI). — MNA/KZL
