Kyonpyaw, 13 September

An event to honor men’s football team in the region was held at the Township Education Officer’s office in the town of Kyonpyaw, Ayeyawady Region on 13 September. 

Kyonpyaw District men’s football team won the first prize in the Region Administration Council Chairman’s Cup U-16 men’s inter-District Football Tournament which held in Ayeyarwady Region.

At the event, chairman of the district Administration Council U Aung Naing Oo spoke words of thanks and gave words of encouragement to the players. Then, he awarded the prizes to all players.

Men’s U-16 football teams from eight districts in the Region participated in the tournament. In the final match, the team representing Kyonpyaw District won the first trophy after beating the squad representing Maubin District with 2-0.—Lapae Oo(IPRD)
