A ceremony to honor Mogaung Township men’s football team was held at the meeting hall of the Township General Administration Department in Mogaung Township, Kachin State on 9 September. 

Mogaung Township men’s football team won the first prize in Kachin State Administration Council Chairman’s Cup U-16 men’s inter-township Football Tournament which took place from August 20 to 31 this year at the state football ground in Myitkyina, capital city of Kachin State.

At the event, chairman of the state Administration Council U Khin Maung Myint spoke words of thanks and gave words of encouragement to the players. Then, he awarded the prizes to all players.

Afterwards, U-16 men’s football team handed over the trophy to chairman of the State Administration Council. Men’s U-16 football teams from ten townships in the state participated in that tournament.—Than Lwin Oo(IPRD)
