As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, medical workers administered booster doses of the vaccine this morning at the District People’s Hospital in Kawkareik Township, Kayin State.

Medical staff, led by Dr. Kyaw Win Zaw, head of the District Department of Public Health, are providing the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to local residents and government employees aged 50 and above in the township, in accordance with COVID-19 health guidelines.

During the vaccination campaign, a total of 147 people, including government employees, received the vaccine. Officials from the Committee for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 provided necessary assistance to healthcare workers. — District IPRD
