A car driver was confirmed dead in a road accident on Ye-Dawei road in Kaleinaung Township, Dawei district, Taninthayi region yesterday morning.

 Shortly after receiving the information, Police sub-inspector Thet Swe Lin rushed to the accident scene to inspect the accident. The accident happened when a vehicle loaded with consumer goods, travelling from Ye town to Dawei town, was out of control and overturned at the foot of a mountain. The injured driver identified as Kyaw Oo, 45 was dead while he was rushed to a nearby hospital. 

Local police brought a case against the driver for reckless driving, according to Kaleinaung area police station.—Moe Moe Khaing (IPRD)
