An event to provide cash aid for purchasing medical equipment amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic to the township committee for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment was held at the people’s hospital in the town of Hlaingbwe, Kayin State yesterday.

As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, the township medical superintendent Dr. Khin Myo and her family provided K 500000 for purchasing medical items to the township committee for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment.

Then, the family of Daw Nan Myint Thidar from Ward-1 on Azarni Road in Hlaingbwe also donated K 300000 to the township committee for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in the township.
