An event to provide cash aid for purchasing medical equipment amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic was held at the checkpoint in the town of Mongnai, Linkhe District, southern Shan State this morning.

As part of efforts to control the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, donors, identified as Sat Cho Pha and Daw Nan Kham Pe donated K 2.3 million the township committee for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment.

The donation was accepted by chairman of the township committee for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment U Soe Htut.
