An event to provide financial aid to the family of lightning victim was held in Khachin Village in Bogale Township, Ayeyarwady Region on 12 October.

Staff led by staff officer U Thaw Htet Aung from the Township Disaster Management Department gave a domiciliary visit to the home of the family of lightning victim and provided Ks. 300000 to them.

A man, identified as U Win Than was struck to death by lightning and drowned while he was fishing with a boat in Thapetkyi River near Khachin Village in Bogale Township on 8 October.—Moe Set(Bogale)
