Officials from the Township Department of Social Welfare provided cash aid to the family of a woman, identified as Daw Na Yaw who fell from the bamboo draft in Nanlun Creek in Monghpyak Township, Tachilek District, Shan State (North) this morning.

Officials led by chairman of the Township Administration Council U Nyi Nyi Aung made a domiciliary visit to the home of the family of Daw Na Yaw and provided Ks. 300000 to them.

Daw Na Yaw from Lahu Village in Monghpyak Township died  after her bamboo draft capsized on the creek on 31 August.—Township IPRD
