Officials from the Township Department of Social Welfare under Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and resettlement paid a domiciliary visit to provide cash aid to a mother who gave birth to triplets in people’s hospital in Buthidaung Township, Maungdaw District, Rakhine State yesterday.

At the event, U Kyaw Thu, deputy director of Department of social welfare and staff handed over Ks 500000 to parents of the triplets who are from Dotan Village in the township.

Mother of triplets, identified as Daw Maw Ri gave birth to triplets including one boy and two girls in people’s hospital in Buthidaung on 11 December last year.—The Lwin Soe(District IPRD)
