A ceremony to provide cash aid to a mother who gave birth to triplets was held at the meeting room of 100-bed hospital in Mawgyun Township, Labutta District, Ayeyarwady Region yesterday.

The provision of cash assistance was jointly organized by the township General Administration Department and Department of Social Welfare under Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement,

At the event, the township Administrator U Zin Min Htay and staff officer of the township Department of Social Welfare Daw Yadana Maw handed over K 500000 to parents of the triplets  who are from Gwegon Village in the township.
