A ceremony to provide cash aid to offspring of staff of the Township General Administration Department was held at the meeting hall of the township General Administration Department in Saling Township, Magway Region on 19 June.

 During the event, the Township Administrator U Nay Lin Naing delivered an opening speech. Then, an official from the Township GAD clarified the provision of cash aid for offspring of GAD staff who will attend Basic Education Schools in 2022-2023 Academic year.

On the occasion, officials present Ks. 10000 and note books to each of high school students, note books and Ks. 8000 to each of middle students and note books and Ks. 5000 to each of Primary students. 

Under this cash aid program, the Township General Administration Department provided a total of Ks. 603000 and 38 dozens of note books to the offspring of GAD staff. A total of 108 staff and offspring of GAD staff attended the event.—Maung Lwin(Saling IPRD)
