An event to provide cash aid to pregnant women and children below two years old was held in Kyauktaw Township, Rakhine state on 13 October. 

First of all, an official from the Township Department of Social Welfare clarified the purpose of the provision of cash aid for pregnant women and children below two years old.

Under this cash aid program, a total of 10949 pregnant women and children below two years old from village tracts and wards in the Township received a total of Ks. 473.9 million for the fiscal year of 2022-2023, according to an official from the Township Department of Social Welfare.—Khin Maung Tun(Kyauktaw IPRD)
