An event to present cash assistance provided by Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement to pregnant women and children below two years old was held at the hall of Mara Youth Association (Mara Thyutlia Py) in the town of Lailenpi, Matupi Township, Mindat District, Chin State this morning.

Under this cash aid program, 130 pregnant women and children below two years old from ward-1 and ward-2 in Lailenpi sub-Township received K 90000 each for six months.
