An event to present cash aid provided by the government to pregnant women and children below two years old was held at Ayelinmyatshin Internally displaced people (IDP) camp in Myaing Gyi Ngu Special region in Shanywathit sub-Township, Hpa-an District, Kayin State yesterday. 

At the event, the town Administrator U Naing Win Aung and officials delivered speeches and clarified the purposes of cash aid, and handed over K 7.11 million to pregnant women and children below two years old in the IDP camp.

Under this cash aid program, 158 people including 21 pregnant women and 137 children below two years old in the camp received K 45000 each for the months of October, November and December, 2020.
