A ceremony to provide cash aid to pregnant women, children below two years old and person with disabilities was held at the hall of Patheih in Thandaunggy Township this morning.

First of all, Chief Minister of Kayin State Daw Nan Khin Htway Myint delivered an opening speech and handed over K 383.4 million to 2128 pregnant women and 6398 children below two years old in the township. Next, CM Daw Nan Khin Htway Myint also presented K 30000 each to 390 Person with disabilities in the township.

Also present on the occasion were CM Daw Nan Khin Htway Myint, Minister of Social Affairs U Bo Bo Wai Maung, the region Hluttaw Representative U Saw Hla Myint and departmental officials.—Township IPRD
