Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided pregnant women, mothers with infants and children below two years old at its One-Stop Service office in ShadawTownship, Kayah State this yesterday.

First of all, the State Planning and Finance Minister U Maw Maw encouraged the pregnant mothers, nursing mother and children below two years old, followed by giving of cash assistance to 87 people including pregnant women, nursing mother or breast feeding mother and children below two years old from four Wards in the Town by U Maw Maw, the state Minister for Resources and Forestry U Ti Rel and relevant officials.

Also present in the occasion were the State Planning and Finance Minister U Maw Aw, the State Resources and Forestry Minister U Ti Rel, Director of the state Planning Department U Maung Muang Lwin, staff officer of Social welfare Department Daw Sein Sein Maw, the township level departmental staff, invited quest, pregnant women and children.—Tun Aung, Township IPRD
