A ceremony to provide cash assistance to veterans and students was held at Aung San hall in Tatgon, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory yesterday afternoon.
At the event, Maj-General Myint Maw, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command and Maj-General Mya Win(retired), Chairman of Myanmar War Veterans Organization delivered opening speeches.
This was followed by presentation of cash aid to 83 veterans above 75 years old, 52 disabled veterans, 70 university level students, 133 high school students, 144 middle school students, 69 primary students and an outstanding matriculation student who passed with six distinctions in 2018-2019 Academic year by Maj-Gen Myint Maw and officials.—Tin Soe Lwin
