Officials from the township Department of Disaster Management under Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided relief items to people whose home was damaged by strong winds in Thanphaya Village, Thabaung Township, Ayeyarwady Region this morning.

At the event, staff officer of the Township Department of Disaster Management U Tha Naing Aung and concerned village Administrator handed over a total of K 54200 including K 4200 for food rations and K 50000 for building materials to victim of strong winds in the village.

Powerful wind hit Thanphya Village in the township and partially damaged the house.
