A ceremony to provide cash aid to victims of strong winds was held at the meeting room of the Township Administration Council in Hsihseng Township, the Pa'O Self-Administered Zone in Shan State(South) on 19 April.

During the event, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Aung San Oo delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Aung San Oo and officials handed over ks.1.67 million to victims of strong winds from Naunghtaw(zaypaing)Village and Naunghtaw(dungkung) Village in the Township.

Powerful winds hit Naunghtaw(zaypaing) and Naunghtaw(dungkung) Villages on 14 April and flipped over the roofs of 19 houses in the two villages.—Myo Myat(Hsihseng)
