An event to provide grants and relief materials to strong winds-affected households was held at the Ayeyar Oo hall in Kyangin Township, Ayeyarwady Region yesterday afternoon.

First of all, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Thein Tan delivered a speech and clarified the purpose of the provision of grants and relief materials for strong winds-affected households.

Afterwards, officials provided Ks.238100 for purchasing rice and construction materials and rescue kit box with 17 items to victims of strong winds. Powerful winds forced to collapse one house and partially damaged six houses from four villages in the Township.
