An event to provide financial aid to people whose homes were damaged by strong winds was held at the meeting room of the Township General Administration Department in Mawlamyinegyun Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday.

At the event, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Thiha Zaw and Staff officer of the Township Department of Disaster Management under Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided a total of K 209400 for purchasing building materials and rice to 14 victims of powerful winds from four households in the township.—Aung Aung, IPRD
