A ceremony to provide cash aids to farmers who lost their monsoon paddy in Twante Township, Yangon Region (South) was held at the Township General Administration Department this morning.

At the ceremony, MP U Myint Lwin of Pyithu Hluttaw, Township Administrator U Nyi Nyi Htwe gave opening remarks and an official from the Township Department of Agriculutre clarified the purpose of cash aids. 

A total of K 3,030,000 at a rate of K 10,000 per acre of farmland was provided to 106 farmers. MP of Hluttaw, Township Administrator, departmental personnel and 66 farmers were in attendance.
