A ceremony to provide cash aids to storm victims in Mahlaing Township, Mandalay Region was held at Township General Administration Department yesterday evening.
At the ceremony, Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Hla Tun Aung gave remarks and Township Administrator U Kyaw Soe clarified the purpose of the provision.
Then, MPs of Pyithu Hluttaw and Regional Hluttaw, Township Administrator, Township Officer from Township Department of Disaster Management handed over cash aids and rescue kit with 16 items provided by Township Department of Disaster Management to victims who faced the risk of fire in Yonebinzauk village on 25th June.
In addition, the officials donated K 100,000 to the Presiding Sayadaw of Hnawkan village monastery because strong winds hit the village at about 8 pm on 25th June destroyed a building at the monastery.
