Officials from Yekyi Township Administration Council and Township Department of Disaster Management provided cash aids and relief items to victims facing riverbank erosion in Thaunggyi village near Ngawun River in the town of Ngathinechaung in Yekyi Township, Pathein District, Ayeyawaddy Region on April 18.

Then, the officials provided K 108,400 of cash aids and 10 pyis of rice to each household and spoke words of encouragement to family members of seven households.
