A ceremony to hand over cash aids provided by government to households with irregular income in Latpadan Township, Tharawady District, Bago Region was held at the Township General Administration Department for the last week of August.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the government provided foodstuff and cash aids to the households without regular income across the nation. Now, it is the fourth of its kind. 

The Ward and Village Administrators and officials provided cash assistance to 28129 households from 53 households at a rate of K 20,000 per household.
