A ceremony to provide cash aids to households relocated to safer places in Neikvankyun village in Minbu (Sagu) Township, Minbu District, Magway Region was held at the Township General Administration Department on December 28.

The officials from Township General Administration Department and District Department of Disaster Management provided K 1,198,700 to the victims for purchasing rice and building materials. 

A total of 11 houses were relocated to the safer places due to the riverbank erosion on December 23, according to an official from the District Department of Disaster Management.
