Kyangin 4 May 

A ceremony to provide cash aids to 40 households facing strong winds in Kyangin Township, Hinthada District, Ayeyawady Region was held at Ayar Oo Hall in the town of Kyangin on May 3.

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Township Administration Council gave remarks and an official from the District Department of Disaster Management clarified the purpose of providing cash aids. 

Officials provided cash aids for purchasing rice and building materials and rescue kits with 17 items to the victims. Due to the strong winds, six houses collapsed and 34 houses were partially destroyed.
