Officials from Myeik District Department of Disaster Management made a field trip to provide cash aids and relief items to storm victims in Myeik District, Taninthayi Region on July 13. 

The strong winds hit Kahan village in Myeik Township on 12 July and a house collapsed due to the strong winds. Likewise, the strong winds hit the town of Pala on July 13 and it destroyed a house at Ward-3 in the town of Pala. Therefore, the officials provided cash aids and rescue kits to the victims.
