Officials from Minbu District Department of Disaster Management donated cash aids and relief items to storm victims in villages in Minbu (Sagu) Township, Magway Region yesterday.

Due to the forceful winds hit Magway Region on 27 May, two houses collapsed and roofs of a religious building and 30 houses were flipped over. Therefore, people from 32 households in 12 villages in the township suffered the consequences of strong winds.

Therefore, officials from District Department of Disaster Management and village administrators provided K 1,441,900 and relief items to victims.
