A ceremony to provide cash assistance to households relocated to safer places due to riverbank erosion in Zalun Township, Ayeyawady Region was held at Township General Administration Department this morning.

A total of K 1,538,600 for purchasing rice and construction materials were provided to family members from 14 households in Kyainn and Nyaungbintha village-tracts in the township. 

The occasion was graced by Township Administrator U Myo Thet Aung, officials from Hinthada District Department of Disaster Management and departmental personnel. Wai Yan (Zalun IPRD)
