A ceremony to provide cash assistance to the persons with disabilities and elderly citizens above 85 was held at the meeting hall of GAD in Kanpetlet, Chin State yesterday.
At the event, Pau Lun Min Thang, Minister of Chin State Social Affairs, delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, Daw Win Win Mar, Assistance Director of the District Social Welfare Department, explained about cash assistance for the persons with disabilities and elderly citizens above 85 years old.
This was followed by the presentation of certificate of honor to Khawnusum Kayhar Supervisory Committee which donated a plot of land for nursery school for Social Welfare Department.—Township IPRD
