A ceremony to provide cash assistance to the offspring of General Administration Department was held at the meeting hall of the Township GAD in Kyaikdon, Kawkarate District, Kayin Sttate this morning.

At the event, the Township Administrator U Min Zaw explained about the purpose of cash assistance for students. 

Afterwards, U Min Zaw and officials from GAD presented cash assistance to 19 students ranging from pre-primary school children to university students in the Town.

The cash donation was provided by Kayin State Government, it is learnt.—Than Htun Naing, IPRD
