An event to donate cash assistance to carry out preventive measures against the spread of coronavirus was held at the office of One Stop Service in Budalin Township in Sagaing Region yesterday morning.
First, Regional Lawmaker U Aung Kyaw delivered an address and the chairman of the township management committee U Kyaw Moe Lwin explained steps being taken for containing COVID-19, establishment of quarantine facilities for returnees and participation of local social organization in the fight against the deadly virus.
Next, local entrepreneurs donated cash aid to the regional legislator, the township administrator and township level working committee members.—Pho Khar (IPRD)
